A Day in the Life of a Gurgaon Property Video Shoot

September 4, 2026 by

A behind-the-scenes look at how a typical shoot day actually runs, from arrival to final export.

Arrival and walkthrough

We start with a quick walk of the property with the agent or owner, confirming which rooms and features matter most and where light is strongest at that time of day. If exterior or drone shots are planned, we’ll often schedule around golden hour — the period shortly after sunrise or before sunset when light is softer and warmer, and shadows are less harsh than at midday.

What’s in the kit

A standard walkthrough kit includes a mirrorless camera body, a gimbal stabiliser for smooth continuous movement, a wide-angle lens for interiors, and neutral density (ND) filters for exterior shots — ND filters cut down the light hitting the sensor in bright daylight, letting us keep a natural, cinematic shutter angle instead of an overexposed, harsh-looking frame.

Filming

Interior filming comes first, using the gimbal-stabilised camera for smooth, continuous movement through the walkthrough, followed by exteriors and drone coverage if planned and airspace-cleared. Agent-led segments, if any, are filmed last once the crew has a feel for the space and can direct natural framing.

Wrapping up

Before leaving, footage is backed up on-site to a second storage drive — standard practice on any professional shoot, so a single card failure can’t cost a client their only copy of the day’s filming. The crew does a final pass through the property to confirm every planned shot was captured — interior rooms, exteriors, drone footage if flown, and any agent-led segments — before packing up, since a missed shot is far cheaper to catch on-site than to discover during editing back at the studio. Footage then goes into editing — colour correction, music, captions and any graphics — with delivery on the agreed turnaround for your package.
